Reaching into memory  is or should be reflecting on your life’s moments wether it be the tiny things or big ones. It helps to go back and write/reconstruct those memories as best you can. These are strong notebook writing because they are personal and often come a strong foundation to jump off with that allows for a descriptive paradise to take place. I choose this because of the personal connection and would dive students in through briefly having them share a memory with the class. Writing from multiple perspectives is the idea of creating multiple versions of a story. Take one perspective usually then flip it essentially developing your own back and forth argument.  It’s important to understand how a variety of people see a topic and a fabulous critical thinking skill. This is why I chose it because in this world as we become more strained between topics where individuals take radical sides it’s important to understand their view so as to create a way to either argue ...

Yue tries to Nudge him putting  Frustrated per usual that my father only walks me four to five times a day I decided enough was enough. I trotted my way up to dad who was sitting in his throne utilizing his weird item that whirs, emits bright lights and loud noises. Forcefully I nudge him putting my snout between his arm and chest making sure that he’d have to notice me. By pushing upwards I force his arm around me trying to signal that I want something. Per usual he brushes me off giving me a pat on the head. “Like that fixes anything, guess I will try again in a couple of hours.”

My current book(s) travels with me via electronics in the form of audio books. Which is useful when I am stuck in traffic or on long dog walks. During the day I often find that lunch and dog walks are my primary times for “reading” through audio listening as it’s the times when I am able to just relax. Possible places for reading for myself include the den or in a park. I often find anywhere else I cannot easily remain focused. Personally solitude is the best form and in a spot that is related to serenity. For example my bedroom would not be the place as that is an area designated for sleep and relaxation. As books tend to not be relaxing for myself but a journey that will keep my brain racing forward.  I want to say people know what I am reading but I often do not tell individuals. I also don’t really share about my books, get recommendations or often wonder about others reading. I find it a very personal activity and usually have too much lined up for myself to also ask for recom...

Slice of Life: Yesterday I awoke in a fright, due to continuing work on partnership with an official phone game and our discord witch provides guidance for its player. In under two weeks we have garnered 1600 individuals and provided structured, informative guidance on all areas of the game. Just as a teach  in a classroom provides guidance to all and sometimes hands on when necessary. However I personally lead the discord so I help run, manage it and answer people’s complaints, questions and suggestions while providing a structured space for all. I am 100% dedicated to the cause and it began without payment and instead the joy of helping individuals become better at something. In under two weeks we have become noticed by the official game and offered a contract to continue our work and get paid. Dedication and overall just joy in a subject has paid off for me and my crew, by proxy the entire player base because we now have a direct link to the developers (administration.) go...

For blog  post #2, you will think about your literacy experiences from grades six through twelve (your secondary school years). Were they positive? Negative? Which books impacted you the most during that time? Why? Which teachers impacted you the most? What did they do that was either positive or negative? (Please do not use real names if negative). How will you use those memories/experiences to make your classroom a place where literacy is a good word? Explain. The questions should be answered in the content of the blog post -- in other words, don't just write answers to the questions. Write a paragraph or two where you weave in the answers to the questions in a well-written and understandable blog post. Secondary schooling and literacy often did not reflect what I have witnessed at my time in HBU and student teaching last semester. My time in the classroom with literacy often was take this book read it and come back ready to talk about it in class several weeks l...
Word: Consistency  Reading and overall Literacy is one of societies greatest push towards the advancement of knowledge we have today starting with woodblock printing (9th century) in East Asia and furthered with the Printing Press (1436.) These inventions sparked periods of innovation like never before but required a strong learning curve. This is where the word consistency enters and it's effect on overall literacy is profound. At one time it is likely that someone close to us read a variety books to us as children, sometimes even multiple times. This is was the start of our literate journey listening to the vowels, grammar, sentence structure and often associating works to images on the pages. The repetition and consistency of reading over and over throughout childhood up to the rest of your life provides more and more each time we pick up words on a page. With a level of subconscious and conscious soaking of information  that is astounding from verbal queues, emotional gaug...
